House and Apartment Cleaning  – Magic Broom Services offers exceptional cleaning services for your home or apartment. Whether you are moving in or moving out, looking for a spring clean or a one time clean we are the team to call. We service Shelby County and the surrounding areas.

Office Cleaning – Magic Broom Services offers competitive pricing for commercial cleaning for small to medium sizes offices. Our services include but are not limited to the following: restroom cleaning/disinfecting, trash collection, mopping and vacuuming of all floors, foyer cleaned, kitchen and lounge areas cleaned, fingerprints and smudges removed from doors, washing chair rails and baseboards.

Window Washing Inside – Magic Broom Services offers interior cleaning of windows and detailed cleaning of light fixtures.

Laundry/Ironing – Too busy for laundry? Let us do it for you. We offer washing, drying, folding and ironing. Call for details.

Special Occasions – Need help setting up for birthday, graduation, or cocktail party? Let us help you with this special occasion. Magic Broom Services can staff individuals who can help set up, and serve during your special event or we can provide assistance with the cleanup.

Extra Services – We can provide these services regularly or by request: vacuuming upholstery, wiping wicker furniture, etc. Clean inside refrigerators and ovens, clean porches and garages, organize closets.

Getting Started:

In order to provide you with the premium service you are looking for, we charge a per person hourly rate for the first visit. This enables us to spend the time it takes to leave your home with that sigh of relief feeling when you return.

Paying for Services:

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. We accept checks and credit cards. Prior to the initial cleaning we obtain credit card authorization. We keep that information on file. Should you ever forget to leave payment, the card would be charged 24 business hours later. We charge a 3.5% convenience fee for the use of all credit cards.

Cancellation Policy:

We require a cancellation notice the day before by 9:00 am or a $50.00 cancellation fee will apply. Office hours are 7:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Friday.

Entry into your home or office:

It is not necessary for someone to be home while we clean, but if someone is home we ask that you review your cleaning with our team leader before they leave. Your satisfaction is very important to us. Most customers give us a key to their home, which is locked in our office at the end of each day until the next morning. If not other arrangements must be made in advance prior to arrival.

Does someone have to be home while the cleaning is going on?

No, it is not necessary because the details of your home or office have been recorded prior to our crew arriving in your home. However, if someone is available please feel free to go over anything in your home you feel is important about your home/office. About 90% of our customers give us a key to keep on file, which is kept in our office safe and not released until the day of your cleaning. Some of our customers give us garage codes, hide the keys on the property, or leave a back door open.

Will I get the same crew?

Our goal is to keep the same crew in our customer's home. If there is an absence on the crew usually there will be at least one or two crew member (s) who is familiar with your home. 

What if I need some extra time?

Most of the time we can accommodate the extra time if given an advance notice. Extra time spent in your home requires an extra fee. We ask that you please call the office the day before to let us know. Additionally, an advance warning of: out of town visitors; painting/construction; any pets that have been added; a very large party; birth in the family, etc.

Do I have to supply anything?

No. We bring all our own equipment, supplies, and fresh towels. Magic Broom also uses a fresh disposable Swiffer for each of our customers home. If there is a special product that you would like to be used you may be asked to supply our crew with that. 

What if I am not happy with the services?

If you are unhappy with our services, please call our office ASAP so that we can discuss your cleaning in detail. We are happy to return to redo any area that was not cleaned to your satisfaction. However, if you are at home while our crew cleans your home, please walk through for an inspection and point out anything you are unhappy with. 

Do I have to pay for full hours?

We have a one-hour minimum. After that we round times off to the nearest quarter hour. For example, if the crew was in your home for one hour and 19 minutes, we would round that off to one hour and 15 minutes. On a regular schedule, you are paying a flat rate to clean whatever was cleaned on the initial cleaning. 

Can I set the time and day for my cleaning?

We try to accommodate the day you request if at all possible. This will then become your set day. Our crews leave our office at 7:30 am usually arriving at their first home around 8:00. You may request a morning or an after 12 noon arrival time, and we can accommodate these requests. All arrival times are approximate. We give arrival times within the hour. 

Is it necessary to de-clutter your home prior to our arrival?

We highly recommend that you take the time to pick up clutter around your home. Some examples include newspapers, paperclips, schoolwork, crayons, pens, pencils, laundry or anything that may interfere with the cleaning of your home. Have children pick up toys, stuffed animals, shoes, clothes, etc.
